Comic Archive

Thursday, March 31st, 2011

Ian kindly pointed out that SFU (in addition to the U of A) has been using my comics, so I put up an archive that you can access the full resolution comics from. There are no water-markings or signatures on the comics, so I kindly ask that if you use the images, or parts of an image, that you do so under the Creative Commons license Attribution ShareAlike (CC BY-SA), which you can read about here: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/.

Here’s the relevant text:

Attribution-ShareAlike
CC BY-SA

This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work even for commercial purposes, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms. This license is often compared to “copyleft” free and open source software licenses. All new works based on yours will carry the same license, so any derivatives will also allow commercial use. This is the license used by Wikipedia, and is recommended for materials that would benefit from incorporating content from Wikipedia and similarly licensed projects.

What the heck’s going on?!

Call it a “Re-normalization”, or “reboot”. Call it what you will, but I’m just not happy with how this site was working out. Yes, I blame myself for not updating it nearly enough. Yes, I blame my lack of updates on something else. But, no, I’m not going to sit idly by. Perhaps I’ll think of something so kick-ass cool that it’ll blow your fuses and stimulate emission – the good kind.
